Service Description
Scar therapy is a specialised treatment that can help care for your scar and the underlying tissue. We can address issues such as pain after surgery or injury—limited movement or tightness, pulling or puckering, fibrous scar tissue or scar adhesions. The appointment includes: - Consultation - Scar therapy treatment - Home Care Advice This is your first time visiting for Scar Therpay. This appointment must be at least 6-8 weeks post delivery, with no weeping, scabs or signs of infection. These clinic sessions include looking locally at the condition and health of the scar as well as globally, how if may be affecting the rest of your body. Hands-on treatment is given both locally and globally to address any issues you may be experiencing.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellation Policy – Treatment Appointments Your appointment time is reserved especially for you. We understand that sometimes schedule adjustments are necessary, and we ask that you give as much notice as possible if you need to reschedule or cancel. Cancellations made up to 24 hours before your appointment can be made free of charge. Cancellations made between 24 hours and 2 hours before your appointment will incur a 75% late cancellation fee. Cancellations made with less than 2 hours’ notice, or failure to attend your appointment (no-show), will be charged the full fee (100%). Please note that refunds, transfers, or exchanges cannot be offered due to illness or other personal circumstances, as your appointment time has been specifically reserved for you and cannot be filled at short notice.
